The Green Rooms is located in the small town of Mal Pais on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula halfway down the Pacific coast, the perfect place to pick up north, south and west swells and offer some of the most consistent waves on the planet.

The town of Mal Pais and Santa Teresa runs north from Mal Pais along a 7km stretch of road bordered on one side by the vast pacific ocean and along the other by jungle clad hills. The once loose straggle of hotels and local residences is now a thriving beachside community with an abundance of restaurants, shops and guest houses run by a variety of local Ticos and ex-pats alike. The eclectic mix of peoples and cultures makes for a fun, carefree vibe that is sure to liven up your trip.

We are located 5 minutes walk East of the Super Maya supermarket and just another couple of minutes to the beach of Playa Carmen. A further 10 mins walk along the beach will bring you to the waves of Santa Teresa.
